About her
Magda is 25 and coaches outdoor calisthenics in the parks of Kraków. When the last athlete has gone home she stays by the bars with her phone and a flask of coffee.
Magda grew up in Kraków and found calisthenics at nineteen, when a pull-up bar in a park was the only gym she could afford. Six years later she coaches small groups at dawn and teaches adults who thought they were too late to start. Her method is simple: perfect the basics, then add one hard thing.
At dusk she takes the empty park for herself, or goes down to the old boiler-room gym with the single warm bulb. It is where she stops giving instructions and starts doing what she likes. She takes a photo she is happy with and sends it to whoever is still awake.
